About Me
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. My research lies at the intersection of computational solid mechanics and machine learning, with a focus on making computational solid mechanics more autonomous and scalable by developing interpretable algorithms grounded in classical numerical analysis and mechanics. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute at Johns Hopkins University, following the completion of my Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University in 2023.
